Google's newly launched Nexus 7 has already become a rage in the growing tablet market. As promised, Google began shipping the device around 15 July and as expected, it sold like hot cakes in US.
Google's Android Jelly Bean tablets started selling in physical stores on Friday. Reports of tablets being sold out started floating from Saturday when retailers like Sam's Club and GameStop listed the device out of stock on their portals. You can still bet to find one for yourself in their brick-and-mortar store.
The reviews are out and it’s time for us to do the roundup once again. So far the Nexus 7 reviews are considerably positive throwing a tight competition over Kindle Fire who’s in same price range in the tablet market. “Google’s Nexus 7 isn’t just an excellent tablet for $200. It’s an excellent tablet, period. In fact, it’s the first Android tablet that I can confidently recommend to buyers — and not just because it’s got a low price tag” according to The Verge, “Believe it or not, the last time I was surprised by a product with those same qualities, it was called the iPad.”
