YouTube: The biggest source for illegal Video uploads
YouTube the world's most popular video sharing website has been generating hundreds of millions of views over the past one year on videos which were illegally uploaded. These videos include Hundreds of full-length  films from Sony & Walt Disney. The story does not end here these videos also include hundreds of WWE & WWF videos uploaded daily as each shows RAW & SMACK DOWN are released.
So how is this clear illegal work is to be stopped, well the answer lies within YouTube which is Content ID. It is used by content providers to identify copyrighted content. This tool is available to content owners but still some illegal videos such as full length movies have been there on Youtube for more than a year.

After a long sleep on Thursday Disney successfully used Content ID to bring down some animated movies from YouTube like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Fantasia & Peter Pan. But still there is a plethora of illegal content on YouTube which is being viewed by millions daily.
This content piracy issue seems to be a headache to Google. Google has been searching ways to monetize YouTube, some of the ideas include introducing paid channels. If this piracy problem is not dealt with then there might be no audience paying for these paid channels as most of the paid content might be available on YouTube already.
TorrentFreakNews itself conducted a survey on YouTube and found much illegal content. There are keywords like "RAW" which when searched for leads to some results such as the ones you can see in the following image
YouTube illegal videos

These results are absolutely illegal & have been there on YouTube for 9 months. This problem has grown in time for YouTube & if Google wants to make money with YouTube then this needs to be addressed.
