After many file sharing web sites and torrent tracker Demonoid was also taken off the internet by European officers. A worldwide chatter regarding the take down and a lot of registered member's data and the way that will be used against them is going on.
Regardless of the laws broken and what has been done wrong, Anonymous has setup a retaliation operation dedicated to the Demonoid cause: #OpDemonoid
DDoS attacks geared toward European officials’ websites have already begun and Anonymous’ #OpDemonoid clearly states its demands:
“#OpDemonoid has the subsequent objectives:
1. Restore Demonoid services by any means that are necessary and, if doable, facilitate a series of mirror sites operated by free Anons all over. In essence, open source Demonoid.
2. Retaliate against those liable for the interruption.
Our work would will need time and patience however once we win, Demonoid will live again”
We all know Anonymous is an idea, not an individual person or a group of people we can specifically aim a finger at.
