Demonoid busted, Users information in hands of Investigators

Demonoid busted Users information in hands of Investigators
Last week thousands of Demonoid users feared that their beloved web site Demonoid disappeared from the web, many people thought that the location had been busted, however they were relieved to listen to that it was only a huge DDoS attack. But today the roller-coaster ride plummeted to new depths, with positive confirmation that the DDoS was simply the start – the location has been busted by the authorities.
ColoCall is that the largest datacenter in Ukraine and an area that has been Demonoid’s range in recent years, however within the middle of last week, within the wake of the DDoS attack, government investigators came across ColoCall to shut Demonoid down.
“Investigators have copied all the information & then sealed off the Demonoid servers” an anonymous ColoCall supply confirmed.
Despite general opinion that Demonoid did not go against Ukranian law, particularly since it blocked all Ukranian IP addresses to avoid discomfiting the locals, the tracker still attracted the eye of the authorities there. That resulted in involvement of US officials.
Ukraine had assured the US that it'd improve its efforts towards imposing copyright. But whereas Demonoid’s servers are in custody, the site’s admin doesn't seem to be. The ColoCall source wouldn't say who is behind the tracker, only that its management is in Mexico.
