Note: This guide assumes that you have AnyDVD installed and working on your PC. If you need to find AnyDVD, download from their site or look for it on your favorite apps tracker. Also, you must use the original retail DVD when you follow this guide for it to be an untouched copy!
1.Open AnyDVD and insert the DVD into your optical drive. AnyDVD should open to the system tray, and you should see an icon like this:
2.Right click on that icon, and select "Rip Video DVD to Hardisk".
3.A box will pop up called "AnyDVD Ripper".
Here you can select the DVD Drive you are ripping from (it should default to the proper drive). If not, change it to the drive that the DVD is in. Next choose the destination folder that you want to save the DVD to, and click "Copy DVD". AnyDVD will now rip the DVD to the folder you specified.
4.Once AnyDVD has completed the ripping process, go to the destination folder. It should look something like this:
The DVD should be contained in a folder which is named after the movie. For example, the path to your ripped DVD should look like this: "C:\Movie_Title_Here\VIDEO_TS". "VIDEO_TS" is the folder that is seen in the screenshot above. It contains all the files that you ripped.
That VIDEO_TS folder should be inside a folder which is named after the movie. When you go to make the .torrent you want to select the "Movie_Title_Here" directory so the completed torrent should be named: "Movie_Title_Here.torrent".
