How to stream to a shoutcast, icecast server using mediamonkey

Alright so MediaMonkey is a great player but by default doesn't have a system to have streaming output.

So I figured i would put this tutorial together for people who want to be able to stream output with MediaMonkey.


Step 1: Download EDCast DSP for MediaMonkey here:  http://www.happymonkeying.com/plugin.php?q=300088

Step 2: Install the plugin to MediaMonkey

Step 3: Restart MediaMonkey

Step 4: Goto Tools>Options>Player>DSP-Plugins

Step 5: Click the toggle box to enable EDCast

Step 6: The EDCast menu should open click "add encoder"

Step 7: Add the Media Server info. and be sure to change it to icecast/shoutcast.

Step 8: Set your audio sources from the EDCast Menu

Step 9: Your ready to stream once you connect to the server
